Medical Aid To Sri Lanka donated 200 limbs for the mobile work shops conducted by CIFINS and Sivan Arul Illam Trust in Vauvnia and Mannar.

Jairpur foot programme administered by Colombo Friend In Need Society (CIFINS) is the main provider of customer fitted prosthetic limbs and orthotic appliances to disable persons in Sri Lanka over 30 years.

Sivan Arul Illam Trust is one of the main partners supporting a permanent artificial limb and appliance center established by Meththa foundation at District General Hospital in Mannar for the supply of  artificial limbs customised to the need of each individual.

After the conclusion of civil war in May 2009, several mobile workshops were conducted in Killinochchi, Trincomalae, Mannar and Vanni districts.
